IP65 PU glue dropping VS. IP65 Silicon glue dropping

Common: both are IP65 waterproof

Difference: led strip with silicon glue dropping has much more advantages.

                   1) PU glue dropping will turn yellow after a period of use, which result in brightness reduce.

                       Silicon glue dropping can avoid that. It's always super clear just like your limpid eyes.

                   2) The surface of silicon glue dropping will be the same, but some area of PU dropping may be heaved which may 

                        result in uneven brightness.

How to distinguish these two kinds when you buy led strip:

1) Color Observation

     If you buy it from a trading company: you can observe the color of the glue, if it is yellow, it is PU glue and it must be over 1 year.

     If you buy it from a factory just like us, you have to see the color after several month after lighting or 1 year after no lighting.

2) Smell

    PU glue dropping smells pungent and makes your nose uncomfortable.

    Silicon glue dropping does't.

3) Touch

     Silicon glue dropping is softerr than PU one.

     Silicon glue dropping is more elastic than PU one.

     When you scratch the glue by your nails, PU glue dropping will have no difference, but Silicon glue dropping one has

     some difference.
